Ms. Nia Yahaya, a Political Science major, gets admitted to Georgetown Law. She majored in Political Science with Minor in Legal Studies. In addition, she interned for Congressman Chris Collins in Washington DC and is currently interning for a law firm in NYC.
Nia says, "I am so excited to have been accepted to Georgetown. I didn't apply until the very last day, because I was scared of rejection. Professor Yacobucci convinced me to apply and I did. I wasn't automatically accepted. I was put on the waiting list and then got called in for an interview. I guess the biggest thing I would stress to law school applicants is to believe in themselves and to put time and effort into studying for the LSAT. It's extremely important."
