This award includes a stipend of $100. Selection criteria include academic performance, dedication to learning, aptitude for scholarship, and potential for a successful career.
UNDERGRADUATE
This award includes a stipend of $60. It was established by former Natural and Social Sciences Dean Dr. Vernon Bullough in memory of his late son. The selection criteria include academic performance, scholarly ability, and purposeful community involvement.
UNDERGRADUATE
This award includes a stipend of $100. The Political Science Department established it in memory of our late colleague, Dr. Raymond P. Stone, Professor of Political Science. Dr. Stone served this department throughout the 1960s and 1970s teaching public law courses as well as other political science courses. He was a highly respected member of the department and the college community. He left a lasting impression on hundreds of Buffalo State alumni, especially those who went on to practice law.
Selection criteria include academic performance, dedication to learning, and a demonstrated commitment to pursue a law career.
MPA STUDENT
Dr. Keith Henderson Scholarship
MPA students are invited to apply for the Dr. Keith Henderson Scholarship early in the spring semester. The department sends out an email with application information and deadlines to all MPA students.
The Dr. Keith Henderson Scholarship is awarded at the Public Service Recognition Week Ceremony (in April) based on a combination of GPA and community engagement.
Presented at the Public Service Recognition Week Conference for Outstanding MPA Project/Thesis from the previous academic year.
