Kenneth H. Stone has been heavily involved in governmental finance for over 30 years, beginning as an Evaluator for the U.S. General Accounting Office (now known as the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO)  and moving on to responsible positions in City and County governments.  Upper management positions included service as Program Development and Audit Manager (budget and internal audit) for the City of Anaheim, California; Budget Director for the City of Spokane, Washington; and currently, Deputy Director – Chief Financial Officer of the Buffalo and Erie County Public Library System, a regional library system serving the citizens of Erie County, New York through 37 libraries covering a territory of 1,043 square miles.  Mr. Stone possesses a Master of Public Administration Degree from California State University at Fullerton and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the same institution.

Mr. Stone enjoys interacting with students learning about Public Budgeting concepts and realities in PAD 601.
